Forest Learning Collective
After several months of planning and negotiating I am pleased to report that the Trustees have entered into an agreement with Forest Learning Collective (FLC) to rent our facilities for outdoor education purposes. FLC is a nonprofit organization that provides youth with an outdoor learning environment along with homeschooling as an alternative to traditional school education. You can view FLC’s website at forestlearningcollective.com.
The agreement states that FLC will be renting one classroom and our 26-acre land space three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) from 9 am to 4 pm and will operate year-round. The majority of learning activities will take place in our woodland outdoor environment.
Students accompanied by adult guides and staff will be supervised at all times. They will have access to the classroom from the southwest back entrance to the church and full access to the 26-acre land including forest, trails, wetlands, and garden.
The rental fee received will be allocated to support upcoming expenses related to special projects and significant church operating expenses.
Specific details of the transaction and the written contract agreement are available for review in the church office.

Pastor BB Watson Transitioning to a New Church
To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
Dear Congregation,
It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Pastor BB will be leaving our church to accept a new assignment at the Cobleskill United Methodist Church in Cobleskill, NY on July 1.
Pastoral transitions can bring uncertainty, but please know that our church leadership will be working with the UMC Upper NY Conference in the search for our next pastor.
We encourage you to pray for Pastor BB and for our church during this time of transition.
