Lunch & Bible Study
Life Groups meet weekly to promote the faith and spiritual life of members, the church, and community.
Join us each Wednesday during September through November for a warm Soup & Sandwich Lunch and a wonderful opportunity to connect with Pastor Daniel, make new friends, and enjoy fellowship with our friends from Homer Ave. United Methodist Church. Participants can take turns bringing soup and sandwiches.
Stay after lunch for a Bible study exploring the book of Genesis in depth. Although we won't cover every detail, we'll start to see how its themes influence humanity's relationship with God. We'll also examine the text's context, structure, and the historical
significance of some of its most debated passages. There will be ample time for discussion and fellowship.
Join us at Cortland First UMC in the Fellowship Hall for lunch at 12 PM and Bible study 1-2:30 p.m.
A Zoom link will be shared for those who cannot attend in person.
